Les chants de la Marianne : manuscript, 1851-1867.

A notebook in poor condition with many pages detached containing a collection of 22 poems, several of which are sonnets dedicated to friends of Monnin. A copy of a letter from the poet Pierre-Jean de Bérenger thanking Monnin for a poem (included in the collection) serves as a preface. The collection also includes a play in verse about Johann Gutenberg and Peter Schöffler and a toast in verse to printing. An index follows the poems.
